[About me in English]
Hi! My name is Mai and I’m from Iwate, Japan. I live in Yokohama with my husband, he is from the UK. I love traveling, singing, playing some musical instruments and cooking.
In 2019, I taught Japanese and Japanese culture at a senior high school in Taiwan which inspired me to start teaching Japanese online.
My main role in Taiwan was a conversation partner for the senior high school students. Not only did I teach conversation, but I also introduced Japanese culture and made learning fun.
My husband and I always talk in English and so I’m used to speaking in English on a daily basis, so please don’t worry, I can help you using English/Chinese when you don't understand Japanese.
I always give lessons with a smile, so I think you can relax. I'm looking forward to seeing you!

皆さんはじめまして！こんにちは。私の名前は麻衣です。
minasan, hajimemashite! konnichiwa. watashi no namae wa Mai desu.
岩手県出身で、現在横浜に住んでいます。
Iwate-ken shusshin de, genzai Yokohama ni sunde imasu.
私が一番好きなことは、旅行です。
watashi ga ichiban suki na koto wa, ryokou desu.
私の夫はイギリス人なので、イギリスには何度も行ったことがあります。
watashi no otto wa Igirisu-jin nanode, Igirisu ni wa nando mo itta koto ga arimasu.
歌うこと、楽器を演奏すること、料理を作ることも好きです。
utau koto, gakki o ensou suru koto, ryouri o tsukuru koto mo suki desu.
私は台湾の高校で日本語を教えた経験があります。
watashi wa Taiwan no koukou de nihongo o oshieta keiken ga arimasu.

大家好！我叫麻衣(Mai)，來自日本北部的岩手縣。我現在住在橫濱。
我最喜歡的是旅行。我先生是英國人，所以我去過英國好幾次。我也喜歡唱歌，演奏樂器和做料理。
我曾經在台灣的高中擔任日文老師，也在日本有豐富的英文教學經驗。我教過各個年齡層和程度的人，所以即使您是初學者也不需要擔心，我能夠在課堂上用英文和中文輔助教學。
