AIKOのレッスンで学びませんか？

The best way to study new languages is by having fun!

◎ 重視するのは「正しさ（正確性）」？ 「意思疎通」？
（Which is the most important for your study? Grammatical accuracy or good communication?）

If you are learning Japanese for your business or exam, a Japanese textbook can help you a lot. You can study grammar and vocabulary at the right level for you. And I can help you to improve your grammatical accuracy.

If you need survival Japanese (for living in Japan or working for a Japanese company), it is best to memorize useful words and phrases that are relevant to specific situations. I can help you choose the words you are looking for.

試験（しけん）やビジネスシーン、ライティングで求（もと）められるのは正確性（せいかくせい）。1つ1つ、誤（あやま）りなく、正確に覚（おぼ）えることが大事（だいじ）です。

しかし、会話中心（かいわちゅうしん）のカジュアルなコミュニケーションや生（い）きるための言葉（ことば）として日本語（にほんご）が必要（ひつよう）なら、まずは正確性より「意思疎通（いしそつう）」に必要な言葉や手段（しゅだん）をできるだけたくさん増（ふ）やすことが最優先（さいゆうせん）。あなたはどちらを希望（きぼう）しますか？

◎AIKOのレッスンは、「たくさん聞いて、たくさん話す」！
（My lesson is focus to student's talk.）

In my lesson the student always come first. I need you to be a talkative in my lesson!  You can use a dictionary, write in the Chat Box or gesture. Don't give up on what you want to say. It's a good opportunity to get to know the real Japan and real Japanese through our lessons.

I can teach you words and phrases from the news, trends, etc. In addition, I will teach natural Japanese expressions in my intermediate and advance level classes that are not found in most textbooks!

私（わたし）のレッスンは、とにかくたくさん皆（みな）さんに話（はな）してもらいます。うまく話（はな）せなくても大丈夫！辞書（じしょ）やチャットボックスを使（つか）ったり、ジェスチャーでも構（かま）いません。伝（つた）えたいことを諦（あきら）めずに伝え合（あ）いながら、コミュニケーションを通（とお）して日本語と日本人（にほんじん）との対話（たいわ）の仕方（しかた）を習得（しゅうとく）していきましょう。

中上級（ちゅうじょうきゅう）の方（かた）は、類似表現（るいじひょうげん）や関連（かんれん）ワード、トレンドワード、時事（じじ）なども用（もち）いながら、今現在（いまげんざい）使（つか）われている言葉（ことば）や言い回し（いいまわし）をたくさん使っていきます。
 

【現在、AIKOが実際に行っているレッスンの一例】

For All Level

We can practice words and expressions from your Japanese textbook or go over something you want to understand in depth. I'll tell you words and expressions to use in real life situations and also teach you different ways of saying things. This will help expand your vocabulary! 

・生徒（せいと）が日本語学校（にほんごがっこう）で学（まな）んだ表現（ひょうげん）や単語（たんご）を使ってフリートーク。実際（じっさい）の生活（せいかつ）でどのような時（とき）に使うかなど、関連表現を取（と）り入（い）れながら、より理解（りかい）を深（ふか）めていくレッスン。

For Intermediate and Advance 

I can pick an article to suit your interests and ask some questions about the article. You can learn not only new vocabulary, phrasal verbs and grammar, but also gain a good understanding of the article. After, we will discuss the article. Reading, thinking, speaking and inputting new topics related to Japan and Japanese is a good way to improve all your skills!

・生徒の趣味（しゅみ）や興味（きょうみ）をヒヤリングし、それに合うネットニュースやトレンドの記事（きじ）をピックアップ。好（す）きなジャンルの記事を通して、単語（たんご）・文法（ぶんぽう）・表現（ひょうげん）をチェックし、内容（ないよう）をどれだけ理解したかをクイズで確認（かくにん）。ディスカッションや関連する話題の話で会話力を鍛（きた）えると同時（どうじ）に、知識（ちしき）や情報（じょうほう）もアップデートいく。

Others

▷We can practice for interviews. I will ask you questions that commonly come up in Japanese interviews and we can repeat these several times until you sound natural. I am also able to advise you on important cultural points and manners too. 

帰化申請（きかしんせい）や仕事（しごと）の面接（めんせつ）などインタビューの質疑応答練習（しつぎおうとうれんしゅう）。想定（そうてい）される質問（しつもん）を複数用意（ふくすうようい）して、何度（なんど）も繰（く）り返（かえ）し練習（れんしゅう）します。使いやすい特別（とくべつ）な表現や文章（ぶんしょう）などを中心に、マナーも含（ふく）めて具体的（ぐたいてき）にアドバイスしています。

▷I teach casual Japanese conversation. For example, how to converse with friends and family. I can select some TV programs which suit your level and interest.  I'll point out useful phrases from the show and we can have a conversation together practising the new language.

カジュアル表現の練習。生徒が覚えたい言葉がよく出てくるドラマやラジオプログラムをピックアップし、会話練習を重（かさ）ねる。（例：ママ友（とも）と自然（しぜん）な日本語で会話（かいわ）したい！など）

▷I will also correct your writing (for example, on Line or in emails). I will advise you on your word choice and also which natural-sounding set expressions to use. We can do it as a role play using the Chat Box during my lesson, or I can correct your text and give advice during the lesson.

メールやLINEなど「文章」の正誤（せいご）チェック＋ワンランク上の文章（相手によりよい印象を与える日本語）の書（か）き方を（かた）アドバイス＆実践（じっせん）。

Hello! I’m Aiko. Nice to meet you! 
 
I’ve been studying English for a long time, so I understand how difficult learning a foreign language is.
 
For me, it’s important to focus on natural Japanese. When we talk with our friends, we want to create a closeness and build a connection. Many Japanese textbooks teach ‘correct’ Japanese, but it’s not something we use in daily life. I want to help you sound like a native speaker, not a textbook.
 
こんにちは、AIKO（あいこ）です。わたしも長年（ながねん）英語（えいご）の勉強（べんきょう）をしてきたので、語学（ごがく）を学（まな）ぶことがどんなに大変（たいへん）かよくわかります。
 
わたしは、生活（せいかつ）・暮らし（くらし）・仕事（しごと）で日本人（にほんじん）が普段（ふだん）使う（つかう）言葉（ことば）を中心に教え（おしえ）ます。友達（ともだち）と話す（はなす）ときや、メールを書く（かく）ときに使う日本語は、教科書（きょうかしょ）に書かれて（かかれて）いないこともたくさんあります。そして、友達や、仕事の仲間で交わされる（かわされる）言葉は、普段からいろいろな人（ひと）と話すことで、確実（かくじつ）に身に（みに）つきます。
 
Whatever you want to practice, if you send me a message with your request, I will do my best to fulfill it. 
 
If you want to work from a textbook, please send me a picture of the pages and we can study that.

I’m a freelance editor and writer for magazines etc. I’m into watching dramas, cooking, tea, and journaling. I hold events teaching people how to improve their lives through writing（mindfulness etc）.
 
After university, I lived in the U.K. for a year (that’s why I like tea!!).
I’ve also studied photography in Paris for six months.
 
Now I live in Japan with my little Yorkshire Terrier.

わたしについて。
 
わたしは、フリーランスの編集（へんしゅう）ライターです。雑誌（ざっし）などに執筆（しっぴつ）しています。ドラマを見（み）たり、料理（りょうり）、お茶（ちゃ）、書くことが好き（すき）です。わたしは、手帳（てちょう）やノートを使って自己管理（じこかんり）や目標達成（もくひょうたっせい）をするワークショップなども開催（かいさい）しています。

大学卒業後（だいがくそつぎょうご）に、イギリスに住（す）んでいました。（だから紅茶が好き！）パリで写真（しゃしん）の勉強もしていたことがあります。

いまは日本で、ヨークシャーテリアと一緒に暮らしています。犬（いぬ）が好きです。
