Self-introduction

Hello! My name is Ruri! I work as an English teacher at an international school (también puedo hablar Español básico).
はじめまして！　るりです。学校（がっこう）でこどもにえいごを教えています。日本語も楽（たの）しくおしえます！えいごでせつめいもできます！
I love teaching not only Japanese but also about the Japanese culture. I understand that learning Japanese is not easy, but I obtained my Japanese teaching diploma in order to be able to teach the language clearly and as easily as possible. I can help you be able to express your ideas in the Japanese!

I've lived in different cities: Nagoya,Kyoto, Fuji (near Mt. Fuji), Tokyo (now), Melbourne, Hawaii

My hobbies are: dancing (especially Tahitian dance), watching Netflix, playing sports, finding nice coffee shops, traveling


Let’s have fun while learning Japanese together! In principle, my lessons are in Japanese, but I can explain or you can ask me in English if it easier for you :)
There are different ways we can practice Japanese ↓↓↓

If you want to...

・Expand your vocabulary →  We can check together the meaning of the words which we use in daily life or idioms by using pictures or textbooks (I will share with you).

・Improve your grammar → You can learn different types of grammar, when and how they are used, and practice until you feel confident.

・Practice formal expressions (keigo) or informal expressions → You can learn the type of situations when formal or informal language are used in Japan, as well as how to use them.

・Pass the JLPT → I can teach you ways of answering the questions efficiently and help you to prepare it!

Also we can also start from the basics, like Hiragana and Katakana symbols, or practice listening or reading if you want to :)

・KIDS lesson→I teach English to kids at work, so I know how to approach teaching languages to kids :) !You can learn Japanese while doing fun activities (e.g., games, stories, songs, illustrations)

・Free Talk→　Let's talk about your favorite topics!

ことばを増やしたい　→　せいかつで使うことばや熟語（じゅくご）の意味、使い方を写真（しゃしん）やテキストをつかって一緒に確認していきましょう！

文法(ぶんぽう)をまなびたい→どんな場面（ばめん）でどのようにつかうか練習（れんしゅう）しましょう

敬語（けいご）やカジュアルな表現を学びたい→いろんな種類（しゅるい）のそんけい語やひょうげんをまなびましょう

JLPTをうけたい→早（はや）く問題（もんだい）を解（と）くテクニックを教えながら、合格（ごうかく）できるよう練習しましょう

そのほかにも、リスニング、リーディングを練習したい、ひらがなやカタカナを練習したいというリクエストもしてください！

こどもレッスン→　こどもに英語をおしえているので、こどものレッスンはとくいです！
うたや、ストーリー、ゲームなども使いながらたのしく日本語をまなべます！

フリートーク→　すきなことをはなしましょう！
