日本語教師のさわこです☆
Nice to meet you! My name is Sawako.I’m a certified Japanese tutor!
自己紹介（じこしょうかい）
石川県出身（いしかわけんしゅっしん）です。現在（げんざい）アメリカ人（じん）の夫（おっと）
と２歳（さい）の息子（むすこ）と金沢（かなざわ）に住（す）んでいます。
以前（いぜん）、イギリスに約（やく）４年間（ねんかん）住（す）んでいました。
その前（まえ）はスコットランドに１年間（ねんかん）住（す）んでいました。
イギリスにいるときに日本語（にほんご）のプライベートレッスンを始（はじ）めて、２０１９年（ねん）に日本語講師（にほんごこうし）の資格（しかく）を取（と）りました。
外国（がいこく）で生活（せいかつ）することや語学学習（ごがくがくしゅう）の大変（たいへん）さはとてもよくわかるので、日本（にほん）で生活（せいかつ）していて困（こま）っていることや、日本（にほん）の文化（ぶんか）でわからないことがあったら、なんでも聞（き）いてください！
英語（えいご）を使（つか）ったレッスン、日本語（にほんご）のみのレッスンどちらでもOKです！
I was born and raised in Ishikawa. I am a mother of a 2-year-old son.
I lived in England for about 4 years and in Scotland for 1 year. I started teaching private students while I was there and completed my Japanese teaching certificate course in 2019.
I truly understand how challenging living in foreign country and learning new language can be, so please let me know anything you worry about or any cultural gaps you've felt living in Japan.
I am qualified to teach either by using English or by using only Japanese if you prefer!

大学（だいがく）を卒業（そつぎょう）した後（あと）、旅行会社（りょこうがいしゃ）に約（やく）３年間（ねんかん）勤務（きんむ）しました。その後（ご）、英語（えいご）を使（つか）った仕事（しごと）をしたいと思（おも）い、海外顧客（かいがいこきゃく）担当（たんとう）のカスタマーサポートセンターで１年間（ねんかん）働（はたら）き、２０１５年（ねん）にスコットランドに引っ越（ひっこ）しました。スコットランドではスコティッシュフードレストランでウェイトレスをしていました。イギリスに引っ越（ひっこ）したときに、英日翻訳（えいにちほんやく）の勉強（べんきょう）や、日本語教師（にほんごきょうし）の資格（しかく）の勉強（べんきょう）を始（はじ）め、両方（りょうほう）とも資格（しかく）をとることができました。
After graduating from university, I worked for 3 years as a travel agent. Since I had always hoped to work in more international environment, I then made a career move and worked in customer support for overseas customers in a retail company. In 2015, I moved to Scotland with my husband where I worked in a Scottish food restaurant as a waitress for 1 year. After relocating to England, I started studying to gain both English-Japanese Translator Certification (University of Toronto) and Japanese Teaching Certification (Institute of International Education in London) and I have been teaching private students since then.
