このレッスンは、中級以上の女性の生徒向けの授業です。
会話の中で小さな間違いを直したりよりよい表現を探したりしながら、ネイティブに近い自然な日本語会話を練習し、
さらに、「あなたらしい」話し方を見つけていく特別なレッスンです。

ご存じのように、日本語にはいろいろな話し方があります。
女性の話し方の中でも、例えば「私」という言葉のほかに「わたくし」「あたし」「うち」「じぶん」など、いろいろな言い方があります。
または女の子でもわざと男の子っぽく「ぼく」と言ったりする人もいます。
「こんにちは」も、「ごきげんよう」「ハロー♪」「げんき～？」「おつかれ～」「おっす!」などなど、いろいろな言い方がありますね。
覚えた言葉を使うだけでは、「あなたらしさ」は出ません。

I am an experienced and qualified online Japanese teacher. (Completed the 420h Japanese teaching course and been teaching full time since 2017)

I’m from Tokyo and I live in the UK with my English husband and a lovely cat.　I speak standard Japanese.

Mayu is the perfect teacher if you're looking to review your Japanese! She's very patient and is quick to figure out where your weak points are. I did my review with her using "Minna no Nihongo" and it helped me remember how to use my Japanese grammar skills very quickly. She's very patient with you as well even if you make the same mistakes sometimes, also her cat is super cute!

I started with a different instructor and was sadly disappointed. I felt discouraged but decided to give Mayu Sensei a try and I'm so thankful for her lessons. I always look forward to our meetings. She is kind, patient, and very nice to speak with. I highly recommend her!

I have been learning Japanese with Mayu sensei for a month now and I can honestly recommend her as a tutor. Mayu sensei's teaching style will suit every beginner and the pace of lessons is tailored to student's capabilities, therefore we only spend more time focusing on concepts I find difficult. Lessons are always fun as Mayu sensei shares cultural information on life in Japan as we go through the textbook. I must add that she also checks homework in a timely manner (even if there's loads) and she always keeps me encouraged and motivated, so I always look forward to new lesson with her. 10 out of 10!

Since the first time i met mayu sensei i knew she would be a great tutor. She immediately understood what my learning needs were and adjusted our study program to that, as well as helping me preparing for my japanese exam with a book which most japanese teachers have never used. I could see real improvements in just three months: i went from barely speaking japanese (even though i studied it for three years i never had a chance to practice) to receiving compliments for my ability at the oral exam! Moreover, her lessons are always fun and useful and you can see that she genuinely wants to build a friendly bond with the student. Even if you are insecure, you'll never feel uncomfortable with her. So if you're looking for an experienced, down to earth and cheerful tutor, you are in the right place. Just book the first lesson and you'll know what i mean. Thank you again sensei!♥

I have been studying with Mayu for over a year and my lessons are so enriching and fun!! She has been such an amazing support for the preparation of JLPT (N4) and is always available when you need help! I would recommend Mayu to anyone, she's just very sweet and makes lessons so enjoyable !

Mayu sensei is a great tutor. During our lessons we covered many topics; grammar, literature, listening and writing. Mayu sensei makes sure to focus on my weak points and anything that I ask for, such as preparations for exams. Sensei is very organized and teaches complicated topics in a very easy way! making the progress very fast. Sensei always answers my questions to the fullest, and not only that, with Mayu Sensei’s way of learning I learned a lot more about Japanese culture and Japan. The book that Mayu sensei taught me with (Minna no Nihongo) is very fun and easy, and Mayu Sensei is a very experienced teacher and speaks perfect EnglishI; making it very easy to communicate.
