みなさんはじめまして！

はるなと申します。

アメリカ人の夫と結婚して、ウィスコンシンに住んでいます。

休日は映画鑑賞、買い物、友達や家族と会うのが好きですが、新しいことに挑戦するのも好きです。

出身は新潟ですが大学以降は北海道に７年間に住んでおり北海道大学を卒業しました。
移住する前まで、作業療法士として3年間働いていました。

旅行に行くのが趣味で、
今までに、カナダ、ニュージーランド、韓国、台湾、シンガポール、タイ、ラオス、ベトナム、ミャンマー、マレーシア、ペルー、イギリスを訪れました。
特に海外でその国の文化や人たちと触れ合うのが大好きです。

日本語を学びたい人を少しでも手助けできればと思い、ジャパトークの講師になりました。

多少の英語も話せるので、まだ日本語に自信がない方でも、日本語と英語を使って少しずつ会話の練習を行えるので安心してください。
私も英語を勉強しているので、新しい言語を学ぼうとしているみなさんの気持ちはすごく共感できます！

＊中学生以下のレッスンは残念ながらお引き受けできません。
＊基礎的な文法のレッスンは行っておりません。基礎文法や日本語検定対策を行いたい方は他の講師にご依頼ください。
＊翻訳のみの依頼はご遠慮ください。
＊私が行うレッスン内容は、日常会話でよく使われる日本語をネイティブの日本人（私）と会話することですが、レッスンのやり方について要望がある場合はぜひおっしゃってください。

Hi everyone!

I'm Haruna from Japan.

I got married with my American husband and we live in Wisconsin.

On weekends, I love to watch movies, go shopping, and meet my friends and family, but I also like to try something new!

My hometown is Niigata, but I also lived in Hokkaido for 7 years. I graduated from Hokkaido university and  I worked as an occupational therapist before moving to the states.

My hobby is traveling and I've been to Canada, New Zealand, Peru, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar, Malaysia, Peru, and England.
 I especially like to learn about different cultures and  communicate with local people when visiting foreign countries.

I became a Japatalk tutor because I would like to help people learn Japanese.

Even if you aren't confident about Japanese yet, you don't have to worry. 
Since I can speak English relatively well, I can help you understand Japanese little by little using both Japanese and English. 
As I'm learning English, I understand how you feel about learning new languages.

* I won't teach students under 15 years old unfortunately.
*I am not teaching basic grammar. If you want to learn about the word order or the part of speech such as preposition, you may want to find other tutors.
*I won't accept only translating tasks.
*My main lessons are to give students an opportunity to communicate with a native Japanese speaker and learn practical Japanese. However, if you have any requests of the way of learning Japanese, please let me know.
