I have been working as a consultant of international exchange since I stayed in Canada for 1 year on working holiday. I had been watching for many years through Japanese students the difficulty of speaking foreign language and understanding cultures for the first time going abroad. Also watched lots of smiles and such a sense of accomplishment when they were able to communicate with the language. My next plan is to support people who would like to study Japanese or know more about Japan because I can learn as well through teaching. If you are elementary level, come in my class! １２月２０日（金）までで、年内のレッスンを終了させていただきます。 その後、１月７日までお休み。 １月８日（水）～ 再開しますので、よろしくお願いいたします。 来年2月～４月くらいまで（まだ期間ははっきりしませんが）孫の面倒をみるために、お休みさせていただきます。日頃ご予約をいただいている皆様には、ご迷惑をおかけしますが、他の先生方のレッスンを受講していただくか、暫くお待ちいただくか、選択をお願いします。申し訳ございません。 学習内容を、読み取り・会話・文法学習のおおまかな３つに分け、ご希望に合わせて教材を送り、学習を進めています。ご希望なら、早めに送って予習していただくことも可能です。 また、添削なども喜んでさせていただきます。よろしくお願いします。 みなさん、こんにちは。 Riki です。長崎県の大村市に住んで、今、市のボランティアガイドをしています。長崎は、原爆が落とされたところ、そして江戸時代に唯一（ゆいいつ）外国とつながっていた場所として有名です。そして、悲しい隠れ（かくれ）キリシタンの歴史があります。 小さい頃からおてんばだった私は、学生時代は器械体操（きかいたいそう）、大人になってからは、Scubadiving,Paragliderなど、長年やってきました。とにかく、何かに挑戦（ちょうせん）することが好きです。人生って、チャレンジの連続ではないかしら？今は、卓球やバドミントン、社交ダンス、水泳、そして、二胡（にこ）に夢中（むちゅう）です。 みなさんも、日本語を学ぶことにチャレンジされていますね。中学の頃から英語を学んできた日本人が、英語をほとんど話せないのに、みなさんは、本当にすごいです。 このレッスンの中では、まちがいをおそれず、たくさんお話し下さい。 私は、ゆっくり、ていねいに話したり、聞いたりを心がけます。私は、旅行が好きで、世界の３０か国くらい訪れました。といっても、クルーズでちょっと立ち寄ったところも合わせてですが。そこでは、できるだけ現地の人と英語で話すようにしています。今も、そこまで、ペラペラではありませんが、毎日（まいにち）Webを通（とお）して海外（かいがい）の方とも話していますから、英語で説明（せつめい）することも可能（かのう）です。
