私の名前はChikaです。 日本人です。 私は日本の小学校で30年以上教員をしていました。 特に低学年の子どもたちを教えることが多かったです。 定年退職後、アブダビの日本人学校で3年間働きました。 今は、近くの小学校で少しだけ働いています。 家族は夫と3人の子どもです。今は、夫と2人で暮らしています。 趣味は走ることです。マラソン大会に出ることが楽しみで、これまでにフルマラソンを3回走りました。 普段は自分のペースでゆっくり走っています。 応援したり応援されたりすることが大好きです。 パンを焼くことも好きです。 シンプルなハードパンやナッツやレーズンの入ったパンが好きです。 アブダビでの生活や低学年の授業の経験から、わかりやすく、かんたんな言葉で話をすることが得意です。 また、カウンセリングの勉強をしているので、悩みや困ったことの相談に乗ることもできます。 文法や発音も大切ですが、相手に伝えたいという気持ちを大切にしています。 日本語に興味を持って学びたい、話をしてみたいという方と楽しくお話ししたいと考えています。 どうぞよろしくお願いします。
Hello! My name is Chika. I am Japanese.
I worked as a teacher in Japanese elementary schools for over 30 years, mostly teaching lower grades. After retiring, I worked for three years at a Japanese school in Abu Dhabi. Now, I work a little at a nearby elementary school.
I live with my husband, and we have three children, but now it’s just the two of us.
My hobby is running. I enjoy participating in marathon races and have completed three full marathons. Usually, I run at my own pace. I love cheering for others and being cheered on. I also enjoy baking bread, especially simple hard bread and bread with nuts and raisins.
From my experience in Abu Dhabi and teaching lower grades, I am good at speaking in simple and easy-to-understand words. I am also studying counseling, so I can help with worries and problems.
While grammar and pronunciation are important, I value the desire to communicate with others. I look forward to having fun conversations with those who are interested in learning and speaking Japanese.

わたしは埼玉（さいたま）出身（しゅっしん）で、これまで小中学生（しょうちゅうがくせい）の英語（えいご）講師（こうし）としての経験（けいけん）を積（つ）んできました。 英語（えいご）を教（おし）える中（なか）で、言語（げんご）を学（まな）ぶことで新（あたら）しい世界（せかい）が広（ひろ）がる楽しさ（たのしさ）を実感（じっかん）し、その思（おも）いを皆さんにも伝（つた）えたくて、日本語（にほんご）を教（おし）えることを決（き）めました。
また、先月（せんげつ）までフロリダ州（しゅう）のディズニーワールドにある日本館（にほんかん）で仕事（しごと）をしていて 世界中（せかいじゅう）から訪（おとず）れるゲストに日本文化（にほんぶんか）を紹介（しょうかい）していました。 そこで、日本（にほん）の文化（ぶんか）や言語（げんご）に興味（きょうみ）を持（も）つ人々（ひとびと）とたくさん出会（であ）い、日本語（にほんご）を学（まな）ぶ楽しさ（たのしさ）や魅力（みりょく）をさらに感（かん）じることができました。 バスケットボールを10年間（ねんかん）していたり、子供（こども）の英語（えいご）の先生（せんせい）やディズニーキャストをやっていたのもあり、 明（あか）るい性格（せいかく）です。

Let me introduce myself.
I am from Saitama, and I have experience teaching English to elementary and junior high school students. Through teaching English, I have experienced the joy of learning a new language and how it opens up a whole new world. I want to share that joy with you, which is why I decided to teach Japanese.
Also, until last month, I worked at the Japan Pavilion in Disney World, Florida. There, I had the opportunity to introduce Japanese culture to guests from all over the world. I met many people who were interested in Japanese culture and language, and it deepened my appreciation for the joy and beauty of learning Japanese.
I’ve also played basketball for 10 years and have experience teaching English to children and working as a Disney cast member, so I have an outgoing and cheerful personality.
